Lots of small Cornish woodlands have not been managed for decades. The trees grow tall and thin, the ground goes dark, and laurel or rhododendron creeps in.
We put together a simple plan with you, then work through it over a few seasons. That might mean thinning out the weaker trees, coppicing a hazel stand, opening up a ride, or planting native trees where gaps appear. The aim is a wood that is safe to walk in and better for wildlife.
