Overgrown hedges cut back hard, and brambles, saplings and scrub cleared so you can use the ground again.
A hedge that has been left for a few years can take over a garden. We cut it back to a size you can manage yourself, and leave it healthy enough to fill back in.
For bigger jobs, such as a plot before building work or a paddock lost to bramble and blackthorn, we clear the lot and chip it on site, so there is no skip to hire.
We avoid heavy hedge work during the bird nesting season, roughly March to August, unless we have checked there are no active nests. Light trimming can happen all year.
