About us
A small Cornish team that cares about trees
Based in Porthleven and working right across West Cornwall since 2012.
Who we are
Boex Tree Surgery is a family-run team of three: two climbers and a groundsman. We grew up around the woods and valleys of the Lizard peninsula, and we still get a kick out of doing a job properly.
We are big enough to take on large removals and woodland work, and small enough that the person who quotes your job is the person who turns up to do it.
Everything we cut gets reused. Chip goes back on gardens and paths, logs go to local wood burners, and the rest goes for biomass.
How we work
Keep the tree if we can
Removal is the last option. If a good reduction will solve the problem, that is what we will recommend.
Safety first, every time
Rescue-trained climbers, a groundsman on every job, and a written risk assessment before the first cut.
Leave it cleaner
We rake, blow and sweep before we go. Most customers say the garden looks better than before we started.
